Jail in a Box (TM) is made up of two key parts—“boxes”, so to speak. The first “box” is a modular cell. The second “box”, the layout, allows the first "box”, the cell, to be useful where staff safety and cost are a concern.
The layout uses a flexible concentric, think “apple pie”, approach to maximize staff efficiency and safety. The layout allows smaller clusters of inmates to improve to improve separation and classification. The control is in the middle of the “pie”, with direct views into all pie “slices”.
